Hiring in 8 countries shouldn't require 8 different processes
This guide from Deel breaks down how to build one global hiring system. You’ll learn about assessment frameworks that scale, how to do headcount planning across regions, and even intake processes that work everywhere. As HR pros know, hiring in one country is hard enough. So let this free global hiring guide give you the tools you need to avoid global hiring headaches.
Victoria Monét has returned with her first solo single post-Jaguar II, and I am very pleased. Like many of her longtime fans, I’ve quietly felt less moved by some of her releases after Jaguar II, like the deluxe tracks and “SOS” with Usher. But - unlike the doomsday folks and “fans” who are lowkey waiting for the downfall of every woman they claim to love, I sat patiently — I just knew she needed to lock in. And the result is so fucking sexy, sultry, slinky. It’s a perfect showcase of her signature cheeky handle on corny metaphors that never fail to make me smile. When you hear them, you know it’s a Victoria record.
“Ooh, you so athletic / You sure know how to / Run from a feeling”
"You got a heart of gold / I can still be your silver lining”
“But you’re still just like glass / I can see where you need some shining / But you’re scared to break / If you let me hold you”
My favorite part is the stunning outro (which mirrors the intro - sort of like a reflection in the water), swallowed by a low pass filter on top of flowy melismas that feel like you’re listening underwater.
And we thank god for 4 whole minutes. Brave in 2026.
p.s
In addition to this magnificent single, Victoria also appeared on Camper’s collab album CAMPILATION with a beautifully simple, Minnie Ripperton + Deniece Williams flavored bittersweet love song called "LOVE YOU” - it's gorgeously written and straight from the 80s, anchored by a lovely flute and no beat - just instrumentation and simple, light falsetto. Check it out as well if you’re yearning for something sweetly melancholy. Stevie Wonder is literally on this album!
